Privacy Policy
The short version
FrongZoolio collects as little as we can get away with. There is no account system, no newsletter signup that stores your profile, no advertising network tracking you across the web. If you read a page and leave, we know a page was read. We do not know it was you.
Analytics
We run self-hosted, cookie-free analytics. That means:
- No cookies are set for analytics.
- No cross-site tracking and no profiles built over time.
- Visits are counted in aggregate: page, referrer, country, device type.
- IP addresses are not stored in the analytics database in a form that identifies you.
Because there are no analytics cookies, there is no cookie banner. There is nothing to consent to. If we ever add something that sets a cookie, this page changes before the code ships.
Server logs
Our hosting provider keeps standard server logs: IP address, timestamp, requested URL, user agent. These exist for security and troubleshooting, they are rotated on a short schedule, and nobody on the team reads them unless something is broken or someone is attacking the site.
If you write to [email protected], we keep your message and your address for as long as it takes to deal with it, plus a reasonable period afterwards in case the same issue comes back. We do not add you to a list, and we do not sell or share correspondence.
Partner links
Some outbound links are affiliate links. When you click one, the partner platform may set its own cookies or identifiers to attribute the visit. That happens on their side, under their policy, not ours. We do not receive your name, your email or your payment details from a partner. We receive aggregate reports: clicks, signups, commissions.
Before you create an account anywhere we link to, read that platform's privacy policy. AI companion apps handle unusually sensitive material, and the differences between them matter more than the differences between, say, two shoe shops. Our reviews point out which ones are vague about retention and which ones are explicit.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete or port the personal data a company holds about you, and to object to certain processing. For data we hold, that means your emails and any server log entries. Write to [email protected] and say what you want. We will confirm what we have and act on it, usually within 30 days.
For data a partner platform holds, you have to ask them. We cannot retrieve, correct or delete an account we never had access to. If a platform makes that hard, tell us. It belongs in the review.
Children
The site is for adults 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect data from minors. If you believe a minor has sent us personal information, write to us and we will delete it.
Changes
If this policy changes, the new version replaces this page with a new date. Material changes get a note on the homepage for a couple of weeks.
