Secrets AI App: There Is No Store Download, and You Don't Need One

There is no Secrets AI app in the Apple App Store. There is none in Google Play either. Secrets AI is the website secrets.ai, built by Secret Labs Inc., and it is web-only on purpose. It runs in any mobile browser, and you can pin it to your home screen so it opens full screen with its own icon.

Secrets AI's own wiki says the same thing: any Secrets download from a store is not affiliated with the platform. Apple's guideline 1.1.4 removes software that exists mainly for pornographic content, which is why adult AI companion apps generally stay in the browser. Going web-only also means updates land without waiting on store review.

A 2025 press release announced a new mobile app from SecretsAI. The current wiki points only to the installable web version. Treat the store question as settled until the company itself says otherwise.

Install on iPhone (Safari)

1. Open Safari and type secrets.ai exactly into the address bar. Not a search result, not an ad above it.
2. Sign in or create an account. Confirm you are 18 or older.
3. Tap the Share button, then Add to Home Screen, then Add.

You now have an icon that opens the chat full screen. Allow notifications when the prompt appears and replies will ping you like any other app. Earlier research found a one-time 25 Moments bonus for turning notifications on. That is worth checking for, but don't count on it as a permanent offer.

Install on Android (Chrome)

1. Open Chrome and go to secrets.ai.
2. Tap the three-dot menu.
3. Choose Install app (or Add to Home screen on older versions).

Same result: icon, full screen, notifications. Your login covers every device, so a conversation that started on your laptop continues on your phone.

One limit to be clear about: none of this works offline. Every message needs an internet connection. The install is real, the connection requirement is real too.

Fake listings and clones

This is where people lose money. Search a companion app name in a store and you often get unrelated clones sitting near the top. Secrets AI is a frequent target.

A Google Play developer page tied to the Secrets name claims its product runs entirely offline. That alone gives it away. The real Secrets AI is an online service. It cannot run offline, so anything claiming to is not the product you want.

Red flags, in order of how fast you should close the tab:

• Mod files or "premium unlocked" installs. Nobody unlocks a paid subscription for you.
• Ads promising free Moments. Moments are credits the company sells; they don't get handed out by third parties.
• Any domain that is not exactly secrets.ai. Not secrets-ai.app, not a hyphenated variant.
• Any page that asks for your email password. Secrets AI does not need it.

Money spent inside a clone is gone. There is no refund path and no support line to call.

If you already installed an unofficial download: remove it, change every password you typed into it, and go through your bank statement line by line. Real Secrets AI billing shows as S LABS INC. Anything else is not them. Also know that "Secret Desires" is a different company entirely.

What the mobile version actually does

Once installed, you have the full platform in your hand, available 24/7. Text, voice and visual interaction with AI personas. Ready-made characters, or build one with gender, look, voice, traits and a backstory. The first custom character is free; extras cost 500 Moments.

The memory system is the part that earns the score. It holds names, preferences and relationship history across long sessions, and the company says companions remember past conversations and evolve. Paid plans add Lorebooks, where you edit what a character remembers. Time Travel, a Premium feature, lets you rewind a conversation and branch the story. That is more useful on a phone than it sounds: long roleplay sessions are exactly where you want to take back a bad turn.

Paid users generate images and video inside the chat. Images cost 50 Moments, or 100 at 2K. Adult videos cost 600 Moments. A SFW image edit costs 50. Failed images are refunded. Live audio calls run 50 Moments a minute.

Prices match on every device and there is no store payment, so you are not paying Apple or Google a markup. Moments are the credits for images, video and calls. Privacy and safety on a phone

The homepage claims end-to-end encryption and 100% confidential private conversations. The privacy policy is narrower. Stored data gets AES-256 encryption and traffic is encrypted in transit, but the server can read private chats, and those chats may feed model training. Both statements come from the company; read the second one as the operative one.

Practical steps:

• Join with an email that does not reveal your identity.
• Keep real names and addresses out of conversations and image prompts.
• Lock your phone. The home-screen icon is not private, and anyone holding an unlocked device can open the chat.
• Closing your account wipes chat history immediately. Deletion requests go to [email protected].
• Call audio is not kept, only transcripts.

Everyone on the platform must be 18 or older. AI-assisted moderation flags signs of underage users, and the policy bans content involving or resembling minors. The company says it has removed content that appeared underage. All companions are fictional adults.

One more thing, said plainly: these companions can feel like a real connection. If one starts crowding out sleep, work or friends for more than a day or two, take a break. That is not a knock on the product. It is the same advice you would give a friend.
