How to Cancel Your Secrets AI Subscription (and What It Costs You)

You are paying for [[secrets-ai]] and you want it to stop. Fair enough. The good news: cancellation is fast and there is no penalty. The bad news is buried in the refund policy and in one billing detail nobody tells you — the charge on your card does not say "Secrets AI." It says S LABS INC.

This guide covers the whole exit: stopping the renewal, chasing a refund if you have grounds, understanding what happens to your chats, and deleting the account only after you have done the first two. Cancel on the website (this is the main path)

[[secrets-ai]] runs in the browser. There is no official app in the App Store or Google Play, so the website is where your subscription lives even if you signed up on a phone.

1. Log in and open Settings.
2. Tap Manage Subscription.
3. Choose Cancel Subscription. There is a short feedback form. Fill it in or skip it.
4. Confirm.

The wiki lists cancel-anytime with no penalties, and a direct subscription page at secrets.ai/subscription if you cannot find the menu. After confirming, reload the page. You want to see an end date, not a renewal date. Screenshot that screen. It is the only proof you will have if a charge shows up later.

Closing the tab is not cancelling. Not using the service is not cancelling. Both leave the billing running.

What you keep after cancelling

Your access stays on full until the billing period ends. Then you drop to the free tier: 20 messages a day, basic memory, no image or video generation, and no monthly Moments grant. Per the wiki, your chats, characters, memories and generated content survive. You can resume any time before the period ends. One exception: crypto-paid subscriptions cannot be resumed after cancellation, so treat that cancel as final.

Moments balances

Unused monthly Moments convert to top-up Moments on cancel or downgrade, and top-ups do not expire. Monthly grants normally reset with no rollover, so screenshot your balance before you confirm. That single image may be the difference between keeping a balance and arguing about it.

iPhone, iPad and Android

Same steps, different screen. Safari on iOS and Chrome on Android both reach the same Settings menu. If you added the home-screen icon, that is a shortcut to the website, not an app. Deleting the icon does nothing to your subscription.

If you paid with Apple Pay or Google Pay, do not go hunting in your Apple or Google subscription lists. Those wallets were checkout methods only. The billing runs through the company directly, so cancel on the site. If you did download something called Secrets from a store, the wiki says those listings are unofficial. Cancel and refund through that store's own process, because the Secrets refund policy does not apply to them.

Refunds: read this before you email

The refund policy was updated April 10, 2026. The short version: the current period is generally non-refundable. No money-back guarantee, no partial refund for unused days. If you cancel on day 2 of a yearly plan, you keep access for the year and you do not get the other 363 days back.

The exceptions are narrow but real:

• EU and UK subscribers: a 14-day withdrawal right on the first payment. Full refund if unused, prorated if not. Renewals are excluded.
• Billing errors: report within 30 days.
• Glitched images: you can request a Moments refund.
• Failed generations: refunded automatically.
• Moments purchases: final. Crypto purchases get no refund at all.

Email [email protected] from the address you subscribed with. The stated aim is a reply within three business days. A bank dispute is the last resort, not the first move, and you will want those screenshots.

Find the charge on your statement

The operator is Secret Labs Inc., and card charges appear as S LABS INC. Plenty of people dispute the wrong line or miss the right one. Check your statement against the plan you were on:

Longer plans are billed up front. Cancelling stops only the next charge, never the one already taken. That is the number one source of "I cancelled and still got charged" complaints.

Deleting your account — after you cancel

Cancel the subscription first. The link between account deletion and billing is not documented anywhere, and you do not want to find out the hard way.

Deletion is permanent. Access ends, nothing can be undone, and you can create a new account later but not recover the old one. Do it from the account settings page or by emailing [email protected]; identity verification may be required. Download any images or videos you want to keep first.

What goes: your profile and chat history are deleted immediately per the privacy policy. Transaction records stay for 7 years under tax rules. Publicly shared characters cannot be deleted at all. One more thing worth knowing before you decide — conversations are AES-256 encrypted at rest but have no end-to-end encryption, and the company may train models on them. Two things people get wrong

Secret Desires is not Secrets AI. Similar name, unrelated app. None of these steps apply to it.

Store-listed "Secrets" apps are unofficial. If you subscribed through one, your cancellation lives in that store, not in Settings on the website.
